Baseline Project Custom Fields

As many of you are using PDPs to store all the important Project level information such as budget, owner, purpose, deadline and so on, a question that  I often get is:”How can I baselines the values, so that I can track changes?”.

My answer is to get som custom code installed that will help you solve the issue. At my company, Projectum, we have a simple solution that enables to save all Project level custom fields to the Project Workspace in a custom list called “Snapshots”. Here you will find all your field values categorized into dates/months. This way you can track the development of your projects”business case”
