From having just returned from a couple of great days in Chicago, I strongly recommend all using Microsoft Project Online/Server, to spend some time on watching this video of the Microsoft session explaining about the capabilities of Project Online with PowerBI, and the new functionalites in regards to Resource Management.

Also take a look at this session video, which my fellow MVP and Partner in Projectum, was part of running. This video targets the most important “need-to-know” facts on reporting with Project Online. The video also gives you a live intro to some of the more advanced features of Excel, PowerBI and reporting in generel.
