Power BI Goals was originally a “Premium” feature but has now been made available to Power BI “Pro” users and also works for free if within a private workspace.
The essence of getting started with Power BI Goals is to:
1. Go to a Power BI “workspace”
2. Create a new “scorecard”
3. Define you goals
4. Connect current status with data found in other reports (within the same workspace)
5. Configure automated “refresh” cycles of goal updates
6. Insert the “scorecard” inside Teams for easier sharing with other team members
